About The Project
We developed a full awareness campaign for Dutch pop artist Nienke Leone, in collaboration with Stichting PLN. At the heart of this campaign was the music video for Nienke’s single ‘Huilen in de Bioscoop’, a deeply personal track inspired by the loss of her childhood friend’s father, who passed away at the age of 59 due to the genetic heart disease PLN. The video follows a narrative storyline that reflects this loss, with renowned Dutch actor Koen Wouterse in the lead role. Shot entirely on the high-end Arri Alexa 35 cinema camera, the production captures the emotional depth of the story with cinematic precision and sensitivity.
Objective
The goal of the campaign was to raise national awareness about PLN (Phospholamban cardiomyopathy), a rare and currently incurable hereditary heart condition. As the creative agency and production company, Muvipro was responsible for the concept, direction, production, and creative execution of the entire campaign. Through the music video, supporting social content, behind-the-scenes material, and targeted media outreach, the campaign reached a wide audience across radio, Spotify, press, and the existing platform of Stichting PLN.
